Responsibilities
Ensures that business requirement specifications are properly analyzed, understood, and translated into functional specifications and test cases.
Evaluates and tests new or modified software programs and development procedures to verify that programs function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines.
Ensures that systems are released in accordance with the agreed functions and requirements set by the customer and development team, supported by the Test Summary Report and/or Acceptance Test Certificate.
Collaborates with the Senior Quality Analyst by applying knowledge and experience to routine situations, demonstrating functional expertise in specific processes or methods.
Qualifications
Obtained a Bachelor’s or College degree in any of the following: Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
At least three to four (3–4) years of working experience in Quality Assurance and/or testing
Proficient in writing test cases and test scripts
Experienced in creating a Master Test Plan
In-depth understanding of Test Design Techniques, QA methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (both Waterfall and Agile development)
Substantial knowledge of QA testing tools, various test design techniques, standards, and processes
Exposure to business operations related to manufacturing, distribution, and financial operations is an advantage
