Job Summary
We’re looking for a Manual QA Tester to support our team in Singapore City. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful insurance-related projects, collaborate with talented SMEs and developers, and ensure the smooth functionality and compliance of mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities
Project Support:
Collaborate with Business Analysts and SMEs to understand business and functional requirements
Design and document test scenarios, cases, and test data
Execute manual test cases based on priority and project needs
Conduct functional and system integration testing
Log, track, and verify test defects using JIRA (or similar tools)
Perform initial root cause analysis and communicate errors clearly to developers and stakeholders
Support test progress reporting and re-test resolved issues for closure
System Administration:
Apply system rule/threshold updates as instructed by stakeholders
Maintain logs of system changes and incident records for compliance tracking
Ad-Hoc Support:
Provide administrative assistance such as meeting coordination and note-taking
Take on additional tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in manual testing
Strong understanding of functional and integration testing principles
Experience using JIRA or similar tools for defect tracking
Preferred: Exposure to insurance domain systems or compliance solutions (AML, etc.)
Good documentation and communication skills
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight timelines
