We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with a strong focus on regression testing to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing and maintaining test cases to ensure the stability and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to identify and resolve issues before deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, execute, and maintain manual regression test cases to validate software functionality after updates and bug fixes.
Identify, document, and track defects using a test management tool
Collaborate with developers and business teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
Perform functional, UI, and integration testing as part of regression cycles.
Ensure test environments and datasets are set up properly for regression testing.
Participate in test planning, requirement analysis, and sprint meetings.
Provide detailed reports on test execution, defects, and software quality metrics.
Support root cause analysis of defects to improve overall product stability.
Continuously improve testing processes, documentation, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in manual QA with a focus on regression testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and QA methodologies.
Experience working with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
Ability to create clear and concise test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Basic understanding of SQL for validating test data (a plus).
Experience with API testing and tools
