Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Needham, MA that is seeking a Manual QA Tester. Responsibilities
Execute manual test cases and document results and defects clearly
The Manual QA Tester will assist in testing a variety of software-based products
Develop new testing protocols and test cases based on product requirements and features
Communicate progress, blockers, and issues to the manual testing team
Collaborate cross-functionally to understand all aspects of the product system
Provide feedback to improve team processes
Support other teams in troubleshooting test units or field returns
Participate in design reviews and project sprints
Contribute to requirements tracing, root cause analysis, fault tree analysis, and defect management
The Manual QA Tester will follow defined system testing practices and procedures
Collaborate with the Software Quality Assurance team on defect resolution
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science)
0-2 years of experience in a quality assurance role
Strong collaboration and multitasking abilities
Understanding of manual software testing practices
Familiarity with test automation tools
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Flexible and open to feedback
Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift 20+ lbs
Working knowledge of lab equipment (e.g., digital multimeters, tachometers)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
