Role Overview
We are seeking a Manual QA Specialist to ensure the highest quality of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. As part of our experienced development team, you will be responsible for detecting defects, improving software reliability, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track defects in a structured manner, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Perform functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing across various platforms.
• Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Validate bug fixes and enhancements before releases.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software quality assurance.
• Provide feedback to improve usability, performance, and security aspects of applications.
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience as a Manual QA Specialist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Experience testing web and mobile applications across different browsers and devices.
• Ability to create detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL for data validation is a bonus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
