Job Description:

Work as part of Agile Scrum teams to design, implement, and test instrument control software, service software, Local Run Manager, and its modules for DNA sequencing and genotyping devices.

Develop, review, and execute manual test cases to ensure software quality.

Investigate and analyze software defects, identifying root causes and documenting findings.

Define, develop, and document test cases to uncover defects and improve product reliability.

Plan and build effective test environments with relevant test data.

Thoroughly document and track issues that surface during the testing process, ensuring timely resolution.

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure clear test coverage and quality assurance.

Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, and sprint demos.

Engage in shared learning, knowledge sharing, and mentoring with other team members.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related engineering field.

At least 3 years of experience in software testing; experience testing medical instruments or image processing software is a plus.

Experience in testing Windows-based and/or Linux-based GUI systems.

Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools such as Microsoft Office, Visual Studio, GitHub, Jira (or similar tools).

Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) processes and methodologies.

Experience in traditional manual Quality Assurance approaches.

Knowledge of multiple test methods, including exploratory, unit, acceptance, functional, system, and integration testing.

Understanding of modern build systems and release management concepts.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong independence and multitasking skills.
