Responsibilities:
- Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure that the software meets the required quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of testers and quality assurance professionals, ensuring their growth and the delivery of high-quality testing outcomes.
- Resource Management: Allocate testing resources efficiently to meet project timelines and objectives, and ensure testing environments are well-prepared.
- Test Execution: Oversee the execution of various testing phases, including unit, integration, system, performance, and acceptance testing, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Defect Management: Manage the defect lifecycle by tracking, prioritizing, and resolving issues, while maintaining open communication with development teams.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates on testing progress.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving testing processes and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing.
- Reporting: Produce detailed reports on testing activities and outcomes to support informed decision-making for software releases.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure testing activities adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
Requirements:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing
- Proven track record of managing testing teams and projects.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, QTP).
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Can communicate in Japanese (N2 up)
