Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Manual Test Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of end-to-end manual testing activities across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive experience in software quality assurance, and the ability to drive testing strategy, governance, and delivery while managing cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the overall manual testing strategy across projects.
  • Lead end-to-end testing activities including System Testing (SIT), Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, and Production Validation.
  • Prepare test plans, test schedules, resource allocation, effort estimation, and test closure reports.
  • Manage and mentor manual testing teams, including onshore and offshore resources.
  • Review test scenarios, test cases, and ensure complete requirements traceability.
  • Coordinate test environment readiness, test data preparation, and release planning.
  • Drive defect management by tracking, prioritizing, and reporting defects through resolution.
  • Monitor testing progress, risks, dependencies, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Project Managers to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to QA standards, testing best practices, and governance processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Support release readiness, go-live activities, and post-production validation.

Mandatory Skills

  • 10+ years of software testing experience with at least 3+ years as a Test Manager/Test Lead.
  • Strong expertise in Manual Testing across web, mobile, and API-based applications.
  • Experience in SIT, UAT, Integration, Regression, Smoke, and End-to-End Testing.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or TestRail.
  • Experience in test planning, estimation, risk management, and reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong people management and leadership capabilities.
