If you’re ready to change the way the world moves, join us at BlueOval Battery Park Michigan, a new state-of-the-art facility in Marshall, Michigan. You’ll be a key part of the launch team that will help bring the electrification revolution to driveways, job sites, and highways everywhere. BlueOval Battery Park Michigan will produce the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells to power the next-generation Ford EV passenger vehicles and trucks under development. This new wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company will create more than 1,700 jobs when production begins in 2026. This role will start remote and then will be working hybrid out of Marshall with expectation to be on-site at Marshall once building construction and timing is established (relocation package available).

You’ll have…

High School Diploma required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
In depth experience in manufacturing processes
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to interact with all employees in the organization
Strong working knowledge of the Ford Production System
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including working knowledge of Six Sigma
Demonstrated ability to lead and work as a team
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
Demonstrated ability to lead, empower and develop employees
Demonstrated conflict management skills
Strong analytical, problem solving, and organization skills
Ability to work closely and successfully with others in order to deliver results
Strong working knowledge of traceability and testing data systems

What you’ll do…

Responsible to efficiently operate to meet objectives for safety, quality, delivery, cost, people, maintenance and environment (SQDCPME), new model launches, continuous improvement and FPS.
Understand all surveillance calls, campaigns and ensure departments respond
Ensure continuous adherence to the QOS and standard Lead FPS activities. Support achievement of Production System objectives
Manage Pre-Delivery Finished Inventory
Manage flow in all areas that belong to Quality
Manage process allocations to PD
Provide real time Quality issue feedback to base departments
Assure containment of concerns
Assist and support launch activities
Assess Ok to Ship daily
Corporate Standards, achieve timing, meet budget, and adhere to First Time Through capability
Ensure areas are staffed to authorization to meet plant tasks/budgets, to maximize production, to minimize cost,
Attend all TM’s Daily, Weekly, Bi-weekly meetings per TDM
Coach and mentor GSR and ensure objectives are clear and that each team member contributes to their achievement
Drive processes and standards across all functions (PD, STA, BME, production operations and engineering)
Support the relationship between Management and the employees
Implement effective training and career development plans for GSR personnel with feedback on performance.
Strive for continuous improvement
including replacements for absenteeism, vacation, and leave of absence
Develop plans to improve safety and reduce risk of injury
Develop a teamwork environment for the whole area in effort to achieve goals and objectives
Represent Ford Motor Company positively internally and within the community
