Moris Media is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Manual Tester to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications through rigorous testing and reporting. Primary Responsibilities
✔ Test Planning & Execution: Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
✔ Bug Identification & Reporting: Detect, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
✔ Regression & Functional Testing: Conduct detailed functional, usability, and regression testing to ensure system stability.
✔ Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand project requirements and improve software quality.
✔ Test Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and status reports for continuous quality improvement.
Primary Skills
✔ Strong Analytical Skills – Ability to identify, document, and report defects with precision.
✔ Expertise in Test Cases & Scenarios – Experience in writing test cases based on business requirements.
✔ Hands-on with Testing Tools – Familiarity with Jira, Bugzilla, or similar defect tracking tools.
✔ Knowledge of SDLC & STLC – Understanding of software development and testing life cycles.
✔ Excellent Communication & Teamwork – Ability to collaborate across teams for quality enhancement.
Qualifications
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
✔ ISTQB Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
✔ Understanding of basic SQL queries for database validation.
Experience
✔ 2-5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
✔ Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing.
