Title: QA Technician I – 4130
Shift: 3rd shift: (Sunday – 6pm-6am) and (Monday through Thursday 7:30 pm-6am).
Job Overview:
- As a Quality Assurance Tech at our milk plant, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products.
- Your duties will include conducting inspections of raw materials, monitoring production processes, and performing various tests to verify compliance with quality standards.
- You’ll also be tasked with documenting findings, reporting any issues, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will play a crucial role in upholding our reputation for delivering top-quality milk products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality checks on incoming raw materials and finished milk products.
- Perform regular inspections of production processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Monitor and document equipment calibration and maintenance.
- Collaborate with production teams to address any quality-related issues promptly.
- Implement and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in internal audits and assist with external audits as needed.
- Record and analyze data and prepare reports on quality metrics.
- Help in the development and execution of quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional relevant certifications are a plus.
- Previous experience 1-2 years in quality assurance or a similar role in food production is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Flexibility to work the specified shift and occasionally on weekends if required.
Pay: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour
