We’re looking for a results-driven and highly experienced Quality Control Operative. The individual will need excellent communication and organizational skills to thrive in this role. This person will need to have an eye for detail, ability to laser focus on tasks and the ability to effectively communicate with team members. Ideally, this person would also have data management skills for the improvement of our production department.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous testing and analysis. You will work closely with production teams to implement quality assurance protocols and maintain compliance with industry standards. This position is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our quality systems and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties
Conduct data collection and analysis to monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Communication with Production Manager and staff members.
Utilize vision inspection systems to identify defects and ensure product specifications are met.
Fabricate testing samples as needed for various quality assessments.
Perform quality audits to assess compliance with established QA/QC procedures.
Utilize ZOHO software for precise measurement and analysis of products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and results in accordance with quality systems protocols.
Assist in the development and improvement of quality assurance processes.
Skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
Proficiency in using vision inspection systems for quality assessment.
Experience in merch printing techniques relevant to product testing.
Ability to memorize products.
Knowledge of QA/QC methodologies and best practices in quality assurance.
Experience with ZOHO software is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Other Key Requirements:
– Read and interpret specifications and work order instructions – Must speak and read in English.
– Reliability – Able to work on feet for 10 hours – Ability to follow all company policies with regard to safety, quality control and material handling – Strong team working skills

Schedule:
– 40 hours a week and possible overtime when required. 7.30-4PM Monday-Friday.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
GED or high school diploma preferred
At least 1-2 years’ work experience in screen printing as a head printer.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods standing at the automatic press and working on a computer.
Ability to run multiple jobs with long hours.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
