Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Quality Laboratory Worker to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of technical tasks within our manufacturing quality laboratory, contributing to the overall quality assurance and control processes for our products.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Conduct routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products according to established procedures and specifications.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and accuracy of results.
  • Document test results accurately and meticulously, maintaining detailed records and logs.
  • Assist in the investigation of quality deviations, non-conformances, and customer complaints, providing data and support for root cause analysis.
  • Perform basic data analysis and generate reports summarizing quality control findings.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of laboratory procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, quality standards (e.g., ISO), and internal company policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with production, engineering, and other quality teams.

Job Qualifications**

  • Associate’s degree in a scientific or technical field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Materials Science, Engineering Technology) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience working in a manufacturing quality control or assurance laboratory environment, preferably within a relevant industry.
  • Proficiency in operating common laboratory equipment (e.g., spectrophotometers, microscopes, tensile testers, analytical balances).
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and record-keeping.
  • Ability to follow complex procedures and instructions precisely.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems is a plus.
