OutBounds IT Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our client’s team in Denver, CO. This is an onsite role where you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of web and software applications. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and API testing.
Write and execute test cases and scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
Perform regression, functional, and integration testing across various platforms and environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and ensure thorough test coverage.
Troubleshoot and analyze failed test cases and report bugs in a clear and concise manner.
Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).
Document test strategies, plans, and results effectively.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and practices
Required Qualifications:
3-5+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation.
Strong experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
Solid understanding of test frameworks and scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar).
Experience in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or Karate.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $52.80 – $55.17 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
