Ferretti Search is excited to partner with a leading metals manufacturing company to identify an experienced and strategic Quality Manager. This is an opportunity to build and optimize quality systems and team in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Quality Manager
Location: Chicagoland
Compensation: $120,000 target salary with some flexibility based on experience + 20% Bonus

What will your day look like?
Quality Leadership: Oversee and refine quality control and assurance programs, ensuring compliance with ISO and industry standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations, engineering, and leadership to improve efficiency, reduce defects, and enhance product reliability.
Customer & Supplier Management: Serve as the quality point of contact for OEM customers, managing audits, addressing non-conformance issues, and strengthening relationships.
Process & System Optimization: Lead PPAP development, implement data-driven quality improvements, and optimize ERP-integrated quality systems.
Team Development: Manage and mentor a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and coordinators, ensuring alignment with company-wide quality objectives.
Who are you?
Experienced Quality Leader: Proven track record managing quality teams within a supplier manufacturing environment (metals, plastics, or stamping).
Process-Oriented Problem Solver: Strong ability to analyze quality data, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and enhance production workflows.
Effective Communicator: Confident in engaging customers, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure quality excellence and compliance.
ERP & Systems Knowledge: Familiar with ERP-integrated quality systems.
