WHAT IT’S LIKE TO BE A QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTOR – ON 2ND SHIFT
As a Quality Assurance Inspector on our lively 2nd Shift team, your day-to-day expectations will be both engaging and impactful! You’ll start each shift by ensuring that all products meet our high standards of excellence. With your problem-solving skills, you’ll conduct thorough inspections of materials and finished goods, taking pride in catching any issues before they reach our customers. Collaboration is key, so you’ll interact regularly with production teams to provide feedback and drive innovation in quality processes. You’ll also be responsible for documenting findings and maintaining accurate records to help us stay ahead of the curve.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
To thrive as a Quality Assurance Inspector on our energetic 2nd Shift team at wedi Corporation, you’ll need a blend of skills that make you a standout problem solver! First, your math wizardry will come in handy-you should be comfortable adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure, including metric and SAE. You’ll also embrace common sense as you interpret detailed written or oral instructions with ease. Excellent organizational skills are essential, helping you multitask and prioritize work against tight timelines while performing with a sense of urgency.
If you have experience with automated manufacturing equipment, that’s a bonus! Additionally, a strong ability to understand technical specifications and operate well under pressure is key, along with the ability to read and write in English. Your 2 PM to 10:30 PM shift awaits, and your chance to shine in a fun and innovative environment is just around the corner!
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
Ability to add,subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Must be able to work with metricSAE units of measure
Must possess excellent organizational skills in order to be an excellent problem solver,,being knowledgable or experienced with automated manufacturing equipment is a plus
Strong ability to understand technical specifications
Strong ability to multitask and prioritize work against tight timelines
Must perform well under pressure
Ability to multi-task and able to work the hours of 2pm -10:30pm and OT as workload requires
Must be able to read and write English
