Job Summary:
Terpene Belt Farms is seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team and play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety. This role is ideal for someone with a hands-on approach who enjoys solving problems, has a keen eye for detail, and understands (or is eager to learn) quality assurance processes. You will work closely with our operations and compliance teams to ensure smooth day-to-day activities and uphold our commitment to delivering premium hemp terpene products. Key Responsibilities:
Creating and maintaining quality records
Developing and implementing standards for environmental control
Developing a workflow for product inspection
Certificate of analysis review
Batch documentation review and specification sheet completion
Following up with the appropriate channels when mistakes or deviations are found
Develop SOP training in our QMS
Maintaining vendor/supplier documentation
Building forms in our QMS software
Reviewing and operating within QMS to ensure quality and compliance
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g.,Botany, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Quality Management) is preferred
Experience: Previous experience in quality assurance or quality control desired, preferably in manufacturing, agriculture, food processing, or hemp-related industries
Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, HACCP, or GMP is a plus
Knowledge of testing equipment and analytical methods
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Experience with information management systems is important
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as familiarity with technical language used in documents
