We are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to join an innovative R&D environment, contributing to cutting-edge product development projects.
Your Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing advanced mechanical solutions. Your work will focus on areas such as media handling systems, high-precision frames, linear and rotational drive systems, printheads, and ink fixation units.
You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Manufacturing, Service, Purchasing, and Quality Assurance to define requirements and translate them into effective technical concepts—balancing quality, time, functionality, and cost (QFTC).
Working alongside designers and architects, you will contribute to innovative solutions, validate designs through prototyping, and ensure feasibility of concepts through testing and iteration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems using NX CAD/CAE
- Specify, realize, and verify mechanical design requirements
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation (drawings, instructions, requirements)
- Perform tolerance analysis and decomposition
- Collaborate with suppliers and conduct vendor reviews
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience with parametric CAD/CAE systems (Siemens NX is a strong advantage)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of precision mechanism design principles
- Familiarity with manufacturing technologies such as machining, sheet metal, and plastics
- Team-oriented, hands-on, analytical, and results-driven mindset
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); Dutch is a plus
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands (Venlo area)
