Role Description This full-time Mechanical Engineer role is an on-site position based in the Nawalparasi District. The Mechanical Engineer will design, develop, and refine mechanical components and systems used in the company’s electrical and industrial operations. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing mechanical designs, creating and updating CAD models and drawings, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing, installation, and maintenance activities. The role involves participating in research and development initiatives to improve product performance, conducting technical analyses and testing, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The Mechanical Engineer will also contribute to project planning, documentation, and reporting, while supporting continuous improvement in processes and equipment.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply core principles to industrial and power-related systems.
  • Proficiency in Machine Design, including component selection, stress analysis, and optimization for performance and reliability.
  • Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drafting and 3D modeling of mechanical assemblies.
  • Ability to support Project Management activities such as planning, scheduling, coordinating resources, and tracking progress.
  • Experience or interest in Research and Development (R&D), including testing, data analysis, and product or process innovation.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety standards, quality assurance practices, and basic electrical or electromechanical systems is advantageous.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and readiness to work in a factory or plant environment in Nawalparasi District.
