Summary:
The Quality Inspector I is responsible for performing a range of quality assurance functions to ensure that all products consistently meet customer and PakTech’s quality standards. Key responsibilities include conducting inspections, audits, and verifications throughout the production process to maintain quality consistency. Additionally, this role supports continuous improvement initiatives, ensures compliance with established quality standards and procedures, and contributes to the enhancement of quality systems across operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conducts in-process inspections to ensure compliance with customer and PakTech’s quality requirements.
Performs audits on boxes, auxiliary equipment, packaging, and labels to verify adherence to standards.
Ensures correct placement of box labels, initials, and proper palletization.
Collects and documents data for tracking ongoing jobs.
Verifies accuracy, adhesion, and placement of UPC and DECO labels.
Performs random 100% inspections of boxes to ensure standards are met.
Identifies and segregates non-conforming products and materials for HOLD.
Documents required information from quality documents onto job travelers.
Assists production and inspection staff with quality issues and rework.

Qualification and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent GED
3 months of experience of Machine Operator duties or equivalent (preferred)
Quality Inspector Training (Box Inspections)
Completion of in-house quality training programs
