Position: MECHANICAL QAQC ENGINEER
Job Responsibilities
Conduct quality inspections of mechanical installations including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
Review project specifications, drawings, and method statements to ensure proper execution of works.
Prepare and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality checklists, and related QA/QC documentation.
Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants, and clients for inspection and approval of mechanical works.
Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Site Observation Reports (SORs) and follow up on corrective/preventive actions.
Ensure materials used at site are approved and comply with project requirements.
Monitor subcontractor and vendor quality performance and adherence to contract terms.
Support testing and commissioning processes of mechanical systems.
Maintain proper documentation for QA/QC reports, material submittals, approvals, and as-built records.
Attend quality-related meetings and provide inputs regarding improvements and compliance.
Key
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the UAE/GCC.Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, MEP standards, and local authority regulations.
Previous experience working with contracting companies is highly preferred.
Good knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.) in building projects.
Familiar with international standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, etc.
Excellent
communication
, documentation, and coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC reporting tools.
Must be presently residing in the UAE.Can join immediately.
