Mechanical QC Engineer (Rotating Equipment) Full-time Team:

of its superior standards of performance. We are currently looking for a Mechanical QC Engineer  to join a top qualified and knowledgeable quality controls team in one of our projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

What you will need to do:  Assists in the preparation of quality documentation, including the Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Monitors all phases and processes required for the effective completion of all related Mechanical works. Monitors the implementation of Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans related to Mechanical works. Manages the inspection and testing of Mechanical works in their area of assigned responsibilities.

Monitors the close out of punch lists established for incomplete related to Mechanical works. Monitors all measurement & testing instruments employed for Mechanical works. Witnesses, reviews and approves welder qualifications and WPS, PQR qualifications. Liaises and coordinates with 3rd Party Testing/Inspection Company as required. Statistical analysis and evaluation of test data related to Mechanical works. Prepares, files, maintains test/inspection records and any other quality records generated.

Assists construction personnel to identify and resolve problems related to Mechanical works. Advises the QC Manager of non-conformance occurrences. Assists the QC Manager in undertaking periodic audits. Witnessing of all NDT and Mechanical testing specified. Attends and witnesses all Client verification of work on site. Assists in the preparation of final document for certification. Assists in the systems commissioning as required.  

What you will need to have:  Bachelor Degree of Mechanical Engineering Min. 15 years of experience (ADNOC experience will be an advantage) Full EPC experience in O&G project Very Good Command of English Language Knowledge in rotating equipment Well versed in the inspection and certification of Pipeline, Piping, Structures, Process equipment, packaged units, NDT methods, Welding activities, Test Package Management, Mechanical Completion – oil and gas EPCM projects.
