Job Description
Assists in the preparation of quality documentation, including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and reviews of construction documents for compliance with project quality requirements related to Mechanical works.
Monitors all phases and processes required for the effective completion of related Mechanical works, including design, procurement, construction, and final handover.
Monitors the implementation of Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans related to Mechanical works, ensuring timely generation of necessary records.
Manages the inspection and testing of Mechanical works, including monitoring the work of QC Inspectors.
Monitors the closeout of punch lists established for incomplete Mechanical works.
Ensures all measurement & testing instruments for Mechanical works are functional and calibrated.
Witnesses, reviews, and approves welder qualifications and WPS, PQR qualifications.
Liaises and coordinates with 3rd Party Testing/Inspection Company as required.
Conducts statistical analysis and evaluation of test data related to Mechanical works.
Prepares, files, and maintains test/inspection records and other quality records.
Assists construction personnel in identifying and resolving problems and potential non-conformances.
Advises the QC Manager of non-conformance occurrences and raises Non-conformance Reports when necessary.
Assists the QC Manager in periodic audits, including sub-contractors and suppliers, particularly technical compliance audits.
Witnesses all NDT and Mechanical testing (including hydro testing, pneumatic testing, etc.) specified.
Attends and witnesses all Client verification of work on site and coordinates closeout of outstanding issues related to Civil works.
Assists in the preparation of final documents for certification.
Assists in systems commissioning as required.
Manages site interface with implementation contractor QC personnel, client QC personnel, and QC inspectors. Knowledgeable in codes and standards, ADNOC specifications, and SHELL DEP.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
A minimum of 8 years of experience (ADNOC experience is an advantage)
Full EPC experience in O&G projects
Very Good Command of English Language Well versed in the inspection and certification of Pipeline, Piping, Structures, Process equipment, packaged units, NDT methods, Welding activities, Test Package Management, and Mechanical Completion in oil and gas EPCM projects.
