– QA Mechanical

What You’ll Do

 Fundamental Knowledge in blueprint reading including GD&T and handling measuring

instruments which includes Vernier caliper, Micrometers, Digital height gauge and various

attribute gauges.

 Executing the Incoming Goods Inspection (IGI) for fabricated and bought out parts used

in the Space, Aerospace and Defense domains.

 Shall have the capability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders,

tooling and other data deemed necessary to inspect the parts produced.

 Responsible for performing source inspections at supplier premises for mechanical parts

 Perform stage inspections with customer representatives at outstation supplier premises.

 Responsible for performing online stage inspections for mechanical PCBA builds

 Responsible for verification & documentation of inspection results and sharing with

internal team.

 Conduct audits with customers for clearing the box builds at package level.

 Upkeep and maintenance, calibration management of hand gauges & inspection aids.

 Knowledge in documentation process, report generation skills

 Non-Conformance (NC) handling and follow-up’s

 Perform supplier evaluation, new supplier development, vendor rating

 Exposure to Mechanical testing (Shock, Vibration)

Who You Are?

 Fresher or 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (Inspection and Quality

Control or

Quality Assurance

) preferably from the Space and Defense sector.

 Good documentation skills,

communication skills

and analytical ability.
