Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing processes. This role requires a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the ability to work collaboratively with development teams to identify and resolve issues.
Duties
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications, including mobile applications.
Perform thorough software troubleshooting to identify bugs and defects in the system.
Analyze requirements and specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Utilize tools such as Jira for tracking defects and managing testing workflows.
Collaborate with developers to understand architecture and design, ensuring that all aspects of the application are tested effectively.
Conduct regression testing after fixes or enhancements are made to ensure existing functionality is not affected.
Provide technical support during the testing phase, assisting in resolving issues encountered by users or developers.
Skills
Proficiency in using Jira for issue tracking and project management.
Familiarity with Linux operating systems for testing environments.
Understanding of software architecture principles to assess application design effectively.
Experience with .NET technologies is a plus.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate test results and identify areas for improvement.
Knowledge of JSP (JavaServer Pages) for testing web applications.
Ability to troubleshoot software issues efficiently and effectively.
Experience with mobile applications testing methodologies.
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
