Quality Associate Manager – Systems (Remote)
The Quality Associate Manager- Systems will be responsible for the development, implementation and front end maintenance of several key quality systems. The Quality Associate Manager – Systems will assist in creating and maintaining quality system standard operating procedures, work with management representatives at all manufacturing plants, communicate quality system changes, assist in the creation of training material, and partner closely with other department members and department managers to ensure the system supports overall company goals.
Essential Functions
Performs project management duties in the development and application of quality tools, methods, and systems that result in continual product quality improvements. Participates in the Quality Assurance functions within the manufacturing division by assisting in developing, implementing and administering quality specifications, test methodologies, and sampling plans for product and process.
Works to standardize and improve processes within written requirements, testing, and quality systems overall. Develop programs and process to address gaps in existing quality systems.
Works independently to manage and improve documents to build and implement sustainable programs, processes and tools. Identifies areas for standardization and streamlining existing programs.
Improve upon and create beverage policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure beverage plants have all necessary programs in place at the same level of water facilities. Standardize policies/procedures and reduce redundancies where they exist.
Oversees Quality Programs with an understanding of detailed product requirements and QA needs across the entire network to ensure consistency and reduce redundancies.
Act as a gate-keeper and expert as to what standard beverage testing requirements are and how to best incorporate new customer/product requirements and needs within our Quality Systems.
Work with QS Training to create new training content for technical level needs on Beverage for onboarding QA Management and Technicians.
Act as the SME for all beverage related policy and Quality Systems data program needs.
Collects, analyzes, and presents Quality data for trending and for the development of Quality Performance Indicators. Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes. Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities. This position will work closely with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Technical Services and IT teams to develop and implement various software system solutions.
Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provide recommended process improvements to management.
Drives lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles throughout the organization using value stream mapping and other lean tools.
Understand LSS methodologies to drive continuous efforts to improve process efficiencies and reduce waste. A focus on achieving measurable and quantifiable financial returns for the company.

Experience and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodology principles.

Education:
Minimum Required:
Bachelor’s Degree In a Science or Engineering Field
Certification/License:
Required: HACCP/PCQI
Preferred: Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, Better Process Control School

Preferred: Native or Bilingual Proficiency, Spanish
