A well established commercial fit out company in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced MEP QA/QC Engineer (Fit-Out Project).

Requirements:
Quality Assurance and Quality Control
Ensure all MEP works (Electrical, ELV, Plumbing, and HVAC) are carried out in compliance with project specifications, standards, and approved method statements.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks for all ongoing MEP activities at the site.
Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up on corrective actions where deviations are found.
Material Inspection and Verification
Verify the quality and specifications of incoming MEP materials (Electrical, ELV, Plumbing, HVAC) before installation.
Coordinate with the procurement and site team to ensure delivered materials are as per approved submittals.
Documentation and Reporting
Prepare and maintain all QA/QC documentation including inspection requests (IRs), material inspection reports (MIRs), method statements, checklists, and test reports.
Submit daily and weekly QA/QC reports to the MEP QA/QC Manager and highlight any quality-related concerns or delays.
Testing and Commissioning Support
Witness and verify all testing and commissioning activities of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Prepare snag lists and follow up for timely rectification and closure.
Coordination and Communication
Coordinate with the MEP team, consultants, and main contractor for inspections and approvals.
Communicate any quality concerns, site issues, or potential delays to the MEP QA/QC Manager on a daily basis.
Coordination with the all the client for the shutdown permit including the required document preparation.
Technical Knowledge
Must have strong knowledge in Electrical and ELV systems.
Should have a working understanding of Plumbing and HVAC systems, especially as applicable to fit-out works.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
Strong background in Electrical QA/QC practices is highly desirable.
Previous experience in MEP QA/QC role within fit-out projects is an advantage.
