Job Summary:
Glimmer Glass Fiberglass Pools is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Support / Quality Control Assistant to join our team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate records, supporting daily office operations, and ensuring quality control standards are met. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and capable of handling multiple administrative and logistics-related responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control & Record Keeping
Maintain and update all quality control documentation and checklists
Record daily project and production notes related to fiberglass pool manufacturing
Monitor and document compliance with internal and industry standards
Communicate QC findings to management and assist in continuous improvement efforts
Administrative & Office Support
Assist with answering phones, responding to emails, and handling customer inquiries professionally
Organize and maintain digital and paper files, including job files and equipment logs
Schedule and confirm freight deliveries for pool shell shipments
Track and log timekeeping records and employee hours for payroll
Payroll & Invoicing
Collect, verify, and submit employee timesheets for payroll processing
Maintain accurate payroll records and assist with payroll-related reporting
Process customer invoices and record payments in coordination with accounting
Assist in tracking receivables and following up on outstanding balances
Qualifications:
Prior experience in office administration, payroll, or quality control preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic accounting software
Excellent communication and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Working Conditions:
On-site office environment with occasional warehouse or field support
Monday through Friday with occasional flexibility based on project needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
