Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. This role involves working closely with production teams to implement quality assurance processes, conduct inspections, and maintain documentation in accordance with FDA regulations and ISO standards.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and systems in compliance with FDA regulations and ISO 9001/ISO 13485 standards.
Conduct regular quality inspections of materials, components, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.
Utilize Calypso software and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for precise measurement and analysis of products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Document all quality assurance activities, including inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions taken.
Train staff on quality assurance practices and procedures to foster a culture of quality within the organization.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in quality assurance.
Experience
Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO 9001, ISO 13485 standards, and QA/QC methodologies.
Familiarity with fabrication processes and quality systems is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using Calypso software and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for quality inspection tasks.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey quality-related information across departments.
