WORK YOU’LL DO
As a Manual Tester, you will support our development teams in delivering high-quality software solutions for major business and technology transformation initiatives across EU Public Institutions.
Responsibilities
Analyze business and functional requirements.
Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
Identify, document, track, and verify defects using test management and tracking tools.
Validate REST and gRPC APIs using tools such as Postman and Kreya.
Review and validate JSON payloads and API responses.
Execute SQL queries to verify data integrity and application behavior.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project teams throughout the SDLC.
Contribute to quality assurance documentation, testing reports, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support troubleshooting activities through log analysis and environment verification when required.
WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in Manual Testing or Quality Assurance.
Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
Experience creating test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
Hands-on experience with Jira (QTest is considered a plus).
Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and status codes.
Experience using API testing tools such as Postman.
Ability to read and validate JSON payloads.
Basic SQL knowledge for database validation and testing.
Nice to Have:
Exposure to gRPC, Protocol Buffers (Protobuf), and HTTP/2 concepts.
Experience with Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) environments.
Familiarity with application log analysis and containerized environments.
Experience using browser developer tools for troubleshooting.
Basic Linux, Kubernetes, or OpenShift command-line knowledge.
