About Us
Lighthouse Restoration & Construction is a leader in property damage restoration, specializing in water damage mitigation, fire & smoke damage cleanup, and mold remediation. We’re seeking a skilled and organized Mitigation Supervisor / Lead Inspector to oversee projects, inspect and document losses, and lead crews to ensure jobs are completed to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform onsite inspections of residential and commercial properties after water, fire, or mold damage.
- Accurately document property damage through notes, photos, and measurements for project files.
- Create clear scope of work for mitigation jobs and ensure proper job setup.
- Oversee and lead crews during mitigation projects to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality control.
- Coordinate with management, project managers, and estimators to ensure accurate job documentation and smooth workflow.
- Communicate directly with clients, insurance adjusters, and property managers to provide updates and address concerns.
- Monitor equipment usage and placement; ensure proper setup and removal per industry standards.
- Train and mentor crew members in best practices for mitigation work.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site; enforce safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in water damage mitigation, fire cleanup, or mold remediation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and motivate crews.
- Knowledge of IICRC standards for mitigation (WRT/ASD certification preferred but not required).
- Experience with moisture mapping, psychrometric readings, and job documentation.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and restoration equipment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-call environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

- Job Type: Full-Time
- Pay: From $22.00/hour + Overtime + Bonuses (based on experience)
- Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Overtime available
- On-call rotation for emergency work
- Supplemental Pay:

- Travel: Up to 25% to local job sites
