Position: NACE(AMPP) CIP Level 2 Coating Inspector

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a NACE(AMPP) CIP Level 2 Coating Inspector in our fabrication shop in SE (8700 Venture Ave SE, not transit-accessible.)

Possess CWB Level 1 Certification
NACE(AMPP) CIP Level 2 Coating Inspector Certification
Have 2+ years of Quality Control experience in a fabrication environment
Have a solid understanding of ASME and CSA codes and practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
Flexible to learn new tasks or different client expectations
Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
Ability to review numerous types of documentation for errors, discrepancies and missing information
Your Accountabilities
Complete dimension and visual inspections of welded piping and structural steel
Record welders symbols, heat numbers and radiography numbers on drawings and travel sheets
Prepare documentation for, and inspect hydrostatic & pneumatic pressure tests
Install name plates, coordinate inspections with ABSA, NDE Contractors and Client TPI’s
Complete Quality Control paperwork
