Title: NDT Technician Level II – UT & FPI

Mission:
The NDT Level 2 mission involves checking the integrity and conformity of materials or structures without altering them. This includes the use of specific techniques such as ultrasound to detect any cracks, defects or anomalies invisible to the naked eye.
Daily responsibilities:
o Carrying out compliance control and providing support to operators;
o Monitoring the process through process and product audits;
o Verifying the correct application of processes;
o Collaborating with the production department in the following aspects:
– Raising awareness of operators regarding product quality;
– Participating in the analysis and resolution of technical problems;
– Monitoring personnel certification;
– Recording inspection reports and non-conformity reports;
– Representing the quality department during audits;
o Carrying out non-destructive NDT UT tests according to training:
– NDT UT verification of products for which ND ultrasonic testing is required;
– Reports all problems recorded;
– Ensures that NDT equipment is used properly, calibrated and maintained;
o Performing ILLS destructive tests according to training:
– Tests samples for ILSS determination;
– Organizes ILSS testing laboratory and ensures that equipment used is properly used, calibrated and maintained;
– Records test results and validates parts compliance.
Must have:
• Relevant degree in engineering or a related field;
• At least 3 years experience in an industrial environment;
• A positive attitude is a must;
• Customer oriented, patience &good observer;
• Good communication, planning and organization skills;
• Decision-making, analysis and synthesis capacity;
• Responsibility must be part of each of his/her decisions ;
• Operational level of English;
• Experienced with IT tools: MS365 & SAP is an advantage;
