Position Overview

As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for conducting inspections and developing quality assurance protocols to analyze raw materials, ongoing production processes, and final products.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial and in-process visual and dimensional checks to confirm part accuracy according to established standards.
Collaborate with the cross-functional team to make tool corrections and adjustments needed for part precision.
Manage quarantined parts and oversee MRB tracking, inspection, and decision-making.
Use precision measuring tools for incoming inspection processes.
Perform in-process checks for GDI and Fitting components.
Oversee incoming inspection approvals and documentation for fittings and steel certification tracking.
Carry out red-rabbit checks on inspection machinery as needed.
Compile and analyze data related to scrap, Jomesa testing, MRB tracking, and release, along with end-of-shift reports using Pareto charts.
Disseminate quality reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for the quality department.
Engage in diverse quality improvement studies and initiatives.
Conduct audits as directed by the Quality Manager and report findings from IATF, floor, internal, LPA, and dock audits.
Mentor and train new QA inspectors as required.
Educate production operators on in-process inspection techniques as needed.
Manage Plant Document Control in Plex associated with IATF and ECR tracking.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Apply LEAP/5S and HSE standards effectively.

Equipment & Software
Knowledgeable in attribute and variable gauging.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Experience with Plex.
Operating CMM with PC-DMIS is advantageous.
Familiar with Minitab.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Quality Technician.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Solid familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Detail-oriented with strong mechanical aptitude.
Positive attitude and capacity for decision-making.
Eagerness to learn.
Consistent transportation availability.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiencies
GD&T proficiency.
Experience in quality inspection.
Data analysis and manipulation expertise.
Competency in PFMEA.
Familiarity with SOPs.
Quality control data analysis.
PPAP process familiarity.
Advanced Excel skills.
Technology Used
Quality Control Software.
