Kazi Farms Group is looking for Officer – QA (Slaughterhouse)
Job Description / Responsibility
- Oversee on-line quality-related activities to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
- Conduct inspections of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products to ensure adherence to required standards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for management on quality assurance metrics and findings.
- Coordinate production planning activities in alignment with customer demand and company objectives.
- Supervise and manage production line operations, including employee management, finished goods, and by-product handling.
- Calculate production metrics on a line-by-line basis and maintain accurate records in our ERP system.
- Coordinate the production, packing, freezing and loading of intermediate and main product items.
- Generate reports and prepare documentation for delivery, including updating records and issuing necessary documentation on time.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Food Science & Technology
- BSc in Food Science/ Food Technology/ Food Engineering from reputed. University.
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience in a similar role within the food processing or slaughtering industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to food safety and quality assurance is a plus.
