We’re expanding our Luxembourg IT contractor network. Together with our Hays Luxembourg colleagues, we’re looking for experienced Operational Test Manager (CONTRACTOR) to join a leading insurance company and drive quality assurance across strategic digital transformation initiatives.
About the Project
- Start: ASAP
- Location / HO: Luxembourg, remote working model
- Project Specific Information: Candidates must be EU citizens and either already based in Luxembourg (or a neighboring country within commuting distance) or willing to relocate before the start of the assignment.
Your Responsibilities in the New Project
- Project test strategy and its test categories, including unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing, security testing, performance testing, etc.
- Estimation of testing workload and required resources, including human, technical, organisational, and documentation-related resources.
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end testing activities, including test planning, execution, and stakeholder alignment
- Identify quality risks, ensure test coverage, and oversee defect management throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage test environments, data, and tools while driving measurable quality outcomes and efficient test delivery
- Define quality KPIs together with stakeholders and monitor them, including coverage, quality, defects, etc.
- Encourage collaboration between key stakeholders, including IT, business teams, architecture, security, production to ensure the successful execution of testing activities.
What You Need to Succeed
- EU citizenship
- Fluent French and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing, including:
- At least 3 years of experience in Test Management, Test Coordination, or Test Leadership roles and more than 3 years of experience in test analysis and test execution
- Knowledge of testing methodologies such as ISTQB, TMap, or equivalent
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with ITIL and DevSecOps practices
- Understanding of test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery processes
- Excellent knowledge and experience in testing analysis
We Consider It a Plus If You Have
- Experience in the insurance industry or in banking/ financial services environment
- Knowledge of AI technologies and practical experience with AI tools
- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Jira, Xray, Postman, Swagger, Playwright, or Kapptivate
