What you’ll be doing:
· Inspecting detailed parts using engineering drawings
· Inspecting high-performance optics to ensure they meet quality specifications
· Following work instructions and technical drawings
· Recording production and inspection information as required
· Communicating with suppliers regarding quality issues
· Supervising Inspection Department personnel
· Supporting additional production duties as assigned by management
Skills we’re looking for:
· Strong attention to detail
· Good visual acuity to perform part inspection
· Good hand/eye coordination
· Strong communication and organization
· Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Preferred experience includes:
· Microscope use
· Use of precision measuring equipment
· Experience reading work instructions and technical drawings
· Basic computer skills
· Prior inspection, manufacturing or optics experience
Physical requirements:
· Ability to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hours per day
· Ability to perform repetitive hand motions and fine motor skills
· Ability to handle small parts and lenses for extended periods
· Ability to lift and move product as needed
· Ability to work carefully and consistently in a detail-oriented environment
Schedule:
· Full-time position
· Day Shift Monday-Friday, Flexible 5:30-7:00am start
· 90-day probationary training period
