Role Description The Order Management Manager is a full-time, remote/hybrid role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end order lifecycle, from receipt through fulfillment and post-sale follow-up. This role includes managing order entry and processing, monitoring order status, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure accurate and timely delivery. The manager will analyze order trends and data to identify process improvements, support forecasting, and maintain documentation and reporting related to orders and inventory. Day-to-day responsibilities also include responding to customer and partner inquiries, addressing issues promptly, and maintaining clear communication to support strong relationships. The role requires consistent collaboration, attention to detail, and a focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Order Management and Order Processing skills to handle complex, multi-step transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to order workflows and inventory processes.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain productive relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple orders simultaneously in a remote environment.
  • Experience with ERP or CRM systems, order management software, and proficiency with spreadsheets or reporting tools is beneficial.
  • Relevant experience in distribution, manufacturing, plumbing/mechanical products, or a similar industry is a plus.
  • SAP Experience preferred
