Job Title: Aerospace Quality Technician (2nd Shift)
Location: Charleston, SC
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $45/hr (W2)
Shift: 2nd Shift | 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Interview Mode: Phone Interviews (Week of 6/9)
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Aerospace Quality Technician to support our operations in Charleston, SC. This role involves reviewing and validating product non-conformances, analyzing root causes, and supporting corrective and preventive actions in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with validation of product non-conformances and disposition types.
Support analysis and evaluation of product, operational, and process quality.
Participate in investigations to determine root causes of non-conformances.
Collect data and recommend solutions for product/process issues.
Assist in documenting corrective/preventive actions and obtaining approvals.
Observe and participate in corrective action validations.
Verify adherence to regulatory and company standards.
Create aircraft-specific airborne software packages.
Conduct audits to ensure proper storage and handling of engineering media.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in inventory control, specifically handling defective parts.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the aviation industry.
MRSA experience (Material Review Segregation Area).
Education & Experience:
Associate degree with 1+ years of relevant experience, or
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Requirements:
Successful completion of on-the-job or classroom training is required.
Regular and predictable attendance is mandatory.
Candidates must be available for 2nd shift.
This position does not require a security clearance.
