Packer/Quality Inspector Jobs in Menomonee Falls, WI at Glenroy
Under the direction of and reporting to the Pouching Lead, the Packer/Quality Inspector is responsible for assembling finished cases and pallets while following quality inspection guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Count and pack finished pouches in accordance with customer specifications.
- Perform visual inspections and pouch measures.
- Document production activity and material traceability/usage calculations to determine finished quantities and line efficiencies.
- Create, label, and tag finished product.
- Communicate with Operator to maintain pouch specifications within defined tolerances.
- Set up line supplies to include making boxes.
- Perform general housekeeping and period cleaning as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be able to read a metric and standard ruler.
- The ability to communicate effectively.
- High school math skills.
- The ability to multi-task.
- The ability to work as a team member.
- The ability to read blueprints is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to operate tools and equipment.
- Ability to lift and move objects over 50 pounds.
- Vision requirements include close vision, color recognition, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee infrequently works near moving mechanical parts and is infrequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is quiet – hearing protection is required on the manufacturing floor.
Protective Clothing/ Equipment Required:
Hearing protection, safety shoes, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements must be worn in all manufacturing areas. Additional PPE may be required as needed.

Leadership must also play an active role in identifying safety hazards on new equipment installations, and ensure that team employees attend required safety trainings.

Glenroy serves many customers in industries where our packaging must meet their stringent product safety requirements. It is the responsibility of company leadership to ensure that Glenroy employees will be made aware of the potential for product contamination while performing their jobs and daily routines. All employees will be trained on specific programs and policies that are in place to prevent such product contamination from occurring. It is the responsibility of all Glenroy employees to follow the programs and policies they have been trained on.
