Part Time Cart Inspector Jobs in Turlock, CA at Land O’Lakes
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring that our products—particularly in the electrical and cable manufacturing sectors—consistently meet quality standards, design specifications, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality inspection and product compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and manage product specifications and quality requirements.
Conduct thorough inspections during production and pre-shipment stages to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to verify product accuracy.
Collaborate with departments including Marketing, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Engineering to resolve quality-related issues.
Maintain accurate quality control records, inspection documentation, and procedures.
Identify and troubleshoot product issues, recommending corrective actions where necessary.
Provide support to internal teams on quality procedures and inspection criteria.
Collect and analyze inspection data to identify trends and drive process improvements.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations including UL, CSA, and others as applicable.
Promote a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
Assist with training on quality procedures as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned in support of quality assurance goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent quality assurance experience preferred.
Experience in quality control, particularly within electrical or cable manufacturing.
Familiarity with regulatory standards such as UL and CSA.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with planograms and retail product placement is a plus.
