CMSP LLC is seeking an entry level Inspector for our 2nd shift production. The schedule is Monday- Friday: 3:OO PM-11:30PM.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Visual Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products, materials, or components meet established quality standards. Your primary duties will include visual inspections, hand-trimming non-critical parts, and assisting senior inspectors while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform visual inspections and hand-trim non-critical parts as directed by supervisors.
Utilize inspection equipment to assess non-critical products for quality.
Assist Inspector 2, Inspector 3, and the Supervisor as needed.
Complete and maintain daily inspection documentation.
Clean non-critical parts as directed.
Package and transport inspected parts according to instructions.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
Take on additional tasks as required to support team operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and ability to detect defects or inconsistencies.
Clear oral and written communication skills in English.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Basic math skills for inspection measurements and documentation.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Frequent use of hands for inspection, trimming, and packaging activities.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour
