Position Overview:

The Part-Time Site Operations Assistant supports the day-to-day execution of ecommerce site operations, content publishing, and site merchandising activities. This role is responsible for maintaining website content, executing merchandising updates, performing quality assurance checks, and ensuring a seamless customer experience across the site.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working within Content Management Systems (CMS), can independently navigate ecommerce tools and workflows with minimal supervision, and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy..

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute website content, merchandising, and promotional updates using CMS and ecommerce platforms.
  • Create, update, and maintain landing pages, category pages, navigation elements, banners, and promotional content.
  • Support product merchandising activities, including category assignments, product sorting, collection updates, and site navigation maintenance.
  • Perform thorough pre-launch and post-launch quality assurance (QA) to ensure content accuracy, functionality, and adherence to business requirements.
  • Review work carefully and proactively identify and correct issues before content is published.
  • Troubleshoot routine site issues independently and escalate when necessary.
  • Conduct regular site audits to identify broken links, content errors, merchandising inconsistencies, and customer experience issues.
  • Maintain clear documentation and follow established operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to ensure timely execution of website updates and campaigns.
  • Assist with additional website production, content migration, and operational projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in ecommerce site operations, website production, digital merchandising, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience using a Content Management System (CMS) to independently execute website updates, content publishing, merchandising changes, and promotional launches.
  • Experience working within ecommerce tools and operational workflows with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of website navigation, category structures, product merchandising, and promotional page management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to identify and resolve issues before launch.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the fashion, apparel, retail, or consumer goods industry.
  • Experience with ecommerce platforms and CMS tools such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Shopify, Magento, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Bloomreach, or similar platforms.
  • Experience performing website QA, troubleshooting site issues, and validating promotional launches.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web content publishing best practices.
  • Familiarity with ecommerce KPIs, customer journeys, and site merchandising principles.
