We currently have an immediate opportunity for a QA Receiving Clerk to join the BAR DIVISION at our ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA location. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Schedule: Monday – Friday (weekend availability required) 7am – 3:30pm
Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager
Job Scope: Samples and verifies all incoming ingredients and components. Applies necessary identification stamps, tags or labels to inspect material and record information on QC logs and reports. Maintain QC files of documents and retain samples and reevaluates aged material as required. Ensures warehouse compliance to GMP’s.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Assigns part number & verify incoming material against P.O., B/L and specifications
Samples and performs simple tests on incoming ingredients.
Verify packaging components against specifications or reference samples.
Maintain complete and accurate files of all materials received.
Organizes and maintains reference standards and retain samples.
Monitors pest control programs & warehouse housekeeping.
Keeps record of trap inspections and warehouse temperature.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1 year quality assurance experience or related fields
HS Diploma or equivalent
Basic computer experience
Must demonstrate good judgment in determining compliance to quality standards
Must be detailed oriented
Must be willing and able to learn new procedures
