We currently have a unique opportunity for a proactive and talented Pharmacovigilance/Medical Associate to join our company Sun Pharma ANZ. An integral part of the role is Pharmacovigilance compliance to ensure drug safety, provide technical and scientific information to healthcare professionals, consumers and internal staff and assist with regulatory and quality assurance activities.

The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensuring compliance with local regulations and applicable company Pharmacovigilance standard operating procedures and product information checks for safety variations

Adverse drug reaction management, including collection, review, follow up, tracking, PSUR and reporting of adverse events.

Training of staff to meet local and global pharmacovigilance requirements.

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of pharmacovigilance requirements in Australia.

Processing product quality complaints and providing quality support for all relevant post market activities in Australia such technical agreements, recalls, global monthly inspections, change controls, etc

Providing technical and scientific support for Sun Pharma’s range of products to healthcare professionals, consumers and internal staff.

IT skills is a plus, in case to complete databases such track wise, deviation software, regulatory database.

Regulatory knowledge is a plus.

To be successful in this role you will be:

University qualification in Science or Pharmacy.

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry in Australia working in drug safety or medical information.

Knowledge of pharmacovigilance and regulatory concepts in Australia.

You have a demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision and direction.

You are dedicated, self-motivated and enjoy working with a dynamic team

You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of clients both internal and external.

Attention to detail and ability to multi-task

Ability to manage time and prioritise work tasks to ensure deadlines are met
