Aptitude for learning computer-based systems (System 21, AS400, etc.)
Measurement/quality inspection experience preferred, but not required
Fork truck license preferred, but not required
Core Responsibilities:
Coordinate supplier containment activities as directed by SQE:
Find and route internal nonconforming/suspect material to SQA hold
Ensure correct quantities are released to prevent impact to production lines
Ensure correct quantities are routed to inspections
Ensure certified material is ready for start of next shift
Communicate sort results to suppliers
Write sort instructions
Monitor shipping & receiving activities:
Suspect material in transit (ensure routing to inspection)
Expedited certified material
Clean point shipments
Material needing incoming inspection
Monitor Shipping for outgoing returns to vendors
Supplier Quality inventory management
Maintain SQA inventory trackers
Communicate and track return material authorizations from vendors
Manage material return to vendors
Manage material scrap
Maintain certified/decertified list status as directed by SQEs
Other Responsibilities as assigned including, but not limited to:
Audits for unreported supplier issues
Audit for correct PPAP on file
Audit for correct incoming checksheets
Cross-training to support Operational Quality as needed
