Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Proactively identify short, medium, and long-term employee relations (ER) risks and implement strategic mitigation plans.
Manage all labour and factory-related legal matters, ensuring compliance and timely resolution.
Develop and implement legally compliant manpower employment models to optimize wage costs, enhance flexibility, and mitigate ER risks.
Oversee the full lifecycle and engagement of blue-collar workforce to promote a productive and progressive work environment.
Ensure compliance routines in plant operations, including statutory payroll management and regulatory adherence.
Champion employee wellbeing initiatives through welfare programs and canteen operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders for continuous capability enhancement through workforce multiskilling and productivity initiatives.
Play a key role in long-term settlement (LTS) negotiations with unions; maintain healthy industrial relations with unions, contractors, and legal advisors.
Address disciplinary and misconduct cases with statutory due diligence.
Academic Qualification
MBA in Human Resources / Master’s in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations / MSW
Relevant Experience
12–15 years in manufacturing (OEM) or unionised plant environments
