Position Summary:
The Quality Control Specialist ensures that all vehicles serviced in the body shop meet or exceed the established quality standards. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of automotive repair, refinishing, and bodywork to inspect vehicles for accuracy, quality, and customer satisfaction before they are returned to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspection of Workmanship:
Conduct thorough inspections of repaired and refinished vehicles to ensure all work meets the company’s quality standards and industry guidelines.
Verify that all repairs are complete, accurate, and aligned with original estimates or repair orders.
2. Quality Assurance Procedures:
Inspect the quality of paintwork, alignment of panels, and structural repairs.
Ensure proper installation and functionality of all vehicle components, including doors, lights, and mirrors.
Confirm color matching and finish uniformity in paint jobs.
3. Customer Satisfaction:
Perform final checks to ensure vehicles are clean, free of defects, and ready for customer pick-up.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in the automotive repair or body shop industry, preferably in a quality control or inspection role.
Keen eye for detail and ability to identify defects, inconsistencies, or missed steps in repair processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
