As a full-time Plant Quality Assurance Manager, you will coordinate with various teams to execute Ventura’s Quality and Food Safety Systems. Your experience will help ensure adherence to customer specifications and regulatory standards, including FSMA and USDA requirements. You will oversee projects while liaising between Technical Services, Operations, and R&D to maintain product excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Ventura Foods Quality and Safety systems management
• Maintain compliance with HACCP/GMP’s and SQF II standards
• Direct QA staff training and development initiatives
• Conduct statistical evaluations to enhance product performance
• Collaborate on budget planning and staff reviews
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field
• 5+ years in Quality Assurance management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
