Job Description
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, as a Plant Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and control of the plant’s quality management system (QMS) within the plant.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Providing development and maintenance of the QMS.
Develop, coordinate, support, train, assist, and facilitate within all attributes of the QMS.
Point of contact for all customer issues, lead corrective actions, and ensure Ventek meets all customer requirements.
Responsible for the Advanced Product Quality Planning Process (APQP).
Lead the continuous improvement program.
Reduce variation within work tasks to improve process efficiency and quality.
Managing the specification, test methods, instructions, and audit processes.
Ensure quality records are maintained.
Develop best practices for each operation within the plant and train across all shifts as required.
We’d love to hear from you if:
You have a four-year degree, preferably in the sciences or engineering (or equivalent experience).
4+ years’ experience in the development and maintenance of a quality testing/reporting system.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Fluent in using Microsoft Office products.
Interpersonal skills with a strong emphasis on building positive working relationships within the company.
Ability to travel as needed (10%).
Ability to support the operations during non-business hours.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
